Senior Management

Career Path Services' senior management team is responsible for both the agency's day-to-day operations and long-term planning and success.

George Iranon, Executive Director

George began his career with Career Path Services in 1980 as a job developer. He worked as a practitioner under both the Comprehensive Employment and Training Act (CETA) and the Job Training Partnership Act (JTPA) before being promoted to management and taking on the challenge of opening branch offices in Eastern Washington and supervising JTPA and DVR services.

George was responsible for the start-up of all Workforce Investment Act (WIA) services. He develops and oversees all programmatic operations, writes grants and proposals and establishes and supervises program goal attainment, expenditures and policy.

Marie Bjork-Haugen, CPA, Assistant Director for Administration

Marie has led Career Path Services' fiscal and administrative team since 1987. Her expertise with computerized accounting systems, spreadsheets and databases ensures the agency's smooth operations and fiscal integrity as it handles approximately $6 million in revenues from multiple fund sources. Annually preparing budgets and creating and maintaining integrated cost allocation plans are her responsibility.

Marie also leads the agency's technology and computer proficiency training efforts. She is a Certified Public Accountant and a graduate of Eastern Washington University.
