Community Jobs

Community Jobs (CJ) helps WorkFirst participants gain paid work experience and overcome issues that can interfere with keeping a job. The amount of one on one attention and assistance our customers receive makes our services different from the rest.

How it works

After you've been referred to us by your CSO case manager , you'll be matched with an employment associate. Together, we'll look at your goals and barriers and create an action plan.

Our employment associates have developed a huge network of host sites to provide you with the chance to gain marketable skills, while getting paid and increasing your family's income. You may spend several months working at your host site - or just a few weeks, depending on how quickly you and your employment associate find a permanent job for you. We may also be able to provide short-term training.

Eligibility requirements

To participate in Community Jobs, you must be receiving TANF and motivated to work. Your CSO case manager has to refer you to our services.
