Preparing for the job you want may require you to gain additional skills. While Career Path Services is not a training provider, we may be able to help you find the right training to meet your career goals. Check out the links below for more information on different types of training:
Apprenticeship
Apprenticeship combines classroom studies with on-the-job training under the supervision of a journey level craft person or trade professional.
College

On the Job Training and Work Experience
The best way to learn certain skills is in the workplace itself. Customers enrolled in employment services with Career Path Services may be eligible for training opportunities with local businesses.
Skills Training and Vocational Education
There are a variety of public and private schools in the Spokane area that provide training programs, including:
Alpine College
Short-term medical administrative assistant training.
Apollo College
Training for medical, dental and health careers.
Community Colleges of Spokane
Includes Spokane Community College, Spokane Falls Community College and the Institute for Extended Learning. More than 90 professional/technical programs are offered at SCC and SFCC varying in length from one quarter to two years.
Construction and Industrial Workforce Development Center (CIWDC)
The CIWDC is a state licensed private vocational school operated by the Inland Northwest AGC to provide the best possible training available in the industrial and construction industries.
Esprit Technologies
Variety of computer and technology training, including bookkeeping, network support, security and more. Offers classroom ane e-learning options.
Humanix
Humanix is the largest full-service staffing and training service in the Inland Northwest.
Interface Computer School
Interface Computer School offers cutting edge training in a variety of career areas (check out the Training Programs section), and all programs lead to several industry certifications. The school is also fully accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Continuing Education and Training (ACCET), a national accrediting agency listed by the U.S. Secretary of Education.
New Horizons Computer Learning Centers
New Horizons offers Classroom Learning, "classrooms on the Web", or self-paced Online Anytime Learning.
North Idaho College (NIC)
Founded in 1933, North Idaho College is a comprehensive community college providing a wide array of academic, professional-technical, and workforce training programs.
Quest Integration
Headquartered in Post Fall, ID, Quest Integration offers regional training on topics related to engineering, including CAD, CAM, FEA and PDM solutions.
Spokane Area Professional-Technical Skills Center
A cooperative of the Central Valley, Cheney, Deer Park, East Valley, Mead, Medical Lake, Nine Mile Falls, Spokane, and West Valley School Districts, the Skills Center offers junior and senior-level high school students the opportunity to attend Career & Technical Education courses that are not available at their high schools.
Western States Engineers Training Institute
The mission of Western States Engineers Training Institute is to provide innovative up-to-date technical training to supply employers of the industrial and construction industries with the highest quality workforce possible.
