Services for Youth
Career Path Services provides employment and education services at WorkSource Columbia Basin for youth ages 16-21 to help them find good jobs and start careers. Our employment representatives work one-on-one with customers to meet their goals. Services include:

One customer's story
"Jane" came to WorkSource with no job and no drivers license. She had dropped out of high school and was struggling as a single mother on public assistance. Through our youth services, she completed her GED, obtained her drivers license and completed a work experience that resulted in being hired for a position that pays $11 per hour.
Eligibility requirements
To qualify for our youth services, you must:
- Live in Benton or Franklin counties
- Have low income for past 6 months
- Be age 16-21
- Be motivated to work and ready to learn!
Enrollment is limited. Eligibility restrictions apply. Program made possible by Workforce Investment Act funds through the Benton-Franklin Workforce Development Council.
