Ring The Bell – January 2015

Candace McGrue nominated our Community Partner Ring the Bell winner this month as an example of how job coaching and support can make a huge difference in someone’s life.  We’d like to recognize Diane Temer of Goodwill for her efforts in mentoring clients in the Tacoma and Spanway, Washington areas.  Diane has partnered with Career Path Services for over a year to provide job placement assistance, coaching, and support to referred clients.  Candace had a few things to add about why Diane makes a great nominee:

What makes your nominee a great partner?

Diane coaches and mentors client on a consistent basis.  She shares real life experience and examples of how to be successful in future employment by having them practice, all the while providing constructive feedback.

Can you share a specific story or example relating to the partnership?

Diane has placed three clients through Goodwill. She recognizes outstanding individuals and does what she can to mold them into strong employees. She goes the extra mile to provide coaching and support to our clients to ensure their success.

Candace McGrue (aka Ms. Dot Com, CanDance, Candyland, CandyPants, CanDice, Candace Cool J, CandyCane, CanDizzle) is Career Path Services’ Ring the Bell winner for January!!

Candace has been a part Career Path Services since June 2013.  During her time on the Pierce County Team, she has had the opportunity to serve customers in our Lakewood and Puyallup offices. Candace works hard at continuing to improve the services she provides to clients (both job seekers and employers) and is very in tune with their employment needs. She quickly volunteers to help her team and co-workers with any task that comes along and is a great listener when someone needs to talk.

Candace participates in numerous webinars to increase her skills and knowledge on job development. She has a passion for connecting clients with unique background issues to employment.  She demonstrates this passion by seeking training opportunities and higher paying positions for her customers.

Candace is also Pierce County’s resident celebrity gossip expert: she has knowledge that spans from Beyoncé’s life happenings to updates on Sons of Anarchy.  Congratulations Candace on your Ring the Bell Award. Thank you for making Career Path Services a better place to work and serve our community!
