Skilled Trades Academy

The Skilled Trades Academy will give 30 participants the opportunity to immerse themselves in the exciting world of skilled trades. This three-week program will offer safety instruction (First Aid/CPR), industry tours and speakers, certification training (forklift and flagging). Credit will be offered to current high school students. Students will work hands-on with professionals as they Earn While Learning. Each student will earn a weekly stipend in addition to valuable industry-recognized certificates. The program will conclude with graduation and hiring event to connect graduates with employment opportunities.
