Spokane, WA (April 1, 2015) Career Path Services has been selected as one of the 2015 Best Nonprofits To Work For by promoting excellence in the areas of workplace experience and organizational culture. They also received the award in 2013 and 2014.
Best Companies Group (BCG), an independent research firm specializing in workplace habits throughout the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom, managed the award assessment process for The NonProfit Times.
“For the third year in a row, we thank The NonProfit Times for naming Career Path Services as one of the USA’s Best Nonprofits to Work For! This award recognizes what people can achieve when they rally to break the spirit of poverty through the dignity of work. It is a tribute to the world class hearts who work here, our employees. ,” said George Iranon, CEO.
Organizations from across the country entered the two-part process to determine the Best Nonprofits To Work For. The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated company’s workplace policies, practices, and demographics. This part of the process was worth approximately 25% of the total evaluation. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. This part of the process was worth approximately 75% of the total evaluation. The combined scores determined the top organizations and the final ranking. Best Companies Group managed the overall registration and survey process and also analyzed the data and used their expertise to determine the final rankings.
Peter Burke, President of Best Companies Group, stated that, “if you want to know if employees love coming to work every day, and if you want to know if trust, respect, and communication permeate the culture…ask the employees. That’s exactly what we at BCG did to determine the Best Nonprofits To Work For. The companies that make this list are there because their employees said they belong there.”
The Best NonProfits To Work For is a national award that shares survey results on what makes a nonprofit organization an effective and flexible workplace.
