Humanitarian Albert Schweitzer once said, “Wherever you turn, you can find someone who needs you. Even if it is a little thing, do something for which there is no pay but the privilege of doing it. Remember, you don’t live in the world all of your own.” For Career Path Services long-time employee Trina Mirabal, there is no task that is too small when it comes to helping others.
Trina started at Career Path Services nearly twenty years ago after being laid off from ECHO. Initially, Trina was working with the DD/DVR team, after a couple of years, Trina shifted over to the position of Administrative Technician. “What a true blessing and honor it has been working for Career Path Services all these years,” she said. Trina loves being able to serve others faithfully. Her least favorite part? She said, “No window in my workspace?…lol. Honestly, no complaints! I love, love, love working here, those I work with, and the work we do!”
When she isn’t working, you can find her in her happy place, outside. Trina loves to garden, camp, and even mow the lawn; she enjoys going on nature walks and spending time with her family, especially her three boys. Even with all of that, Trina finds time to help her church with whatever they might need. She prepares and delivers meals, teaches children in the classroom, helps out in the nursery. Additionally, she gives rides to elderly church members, offers hair-cuts and cleaning, assembles Christmas boxes for children overseas, and helps other members with their yard work. Trina said, “I will help with any need I can and feel I am capable of doing! I’ve always been led to serve where God leads me; he is my draw and my reward!”
Thank you, Trina, for making a difference and for your caring heart. With volunteers like you, we have a chance to make this world a better place!
