On January 24th & 25th , the WorkSource Pierce Job Center hosted a two-day workshop, “Human-Centered Design”, by The Luma Institute. It was two days of collaborative learning on how to change our processes to gain insight, align priorities, and improve how we interact with customers and colleagues.
ESD spearheaded the event for their employees and partners, including ResCare and Career Path Services. ESD Management Analyst, Michelle Meader and Luma Institute Facilitator, Zicka led the presentation. WorkSource Pierce Job Center staffers Malia Buehs (ESD), Luke Smith (ResCare), and Fatima Stutler (ResCare) attended, as did Rhoda Simmons, our Career Path Services Guest Service Specialist in at the job center. A brainchild of the Luma Institute, special thanks go to Michelle Meader (ESD) and WSPJC staffer, Kim Pontsler (ESD) for their event coordination efforts.
