Cami Eakins, COO of Career Path Services, was recently elected to serve on The National Association of Workforce Development Professionals (NAWDP) Board of Directors. She is representing Region 10, Washington, Idaho, Oregon, Alaska, Canada, APO. Her 3-year term began on July 1, 2019.
NAWDP is a professional association representing individual workforce development and human resources practitioners, who connect jobseekers, educators, and companies to advance the American economy. Their mission is to advance the workforce development profession by providing training and resources to its members, improve the effectiveness of the nation’s workforce development programs, and enhance public-private cooperation in the pursuit of full-time employment.
NAWDP is governed and managed by a Board of Directors who are elected to represent the views and the needs of the NAWDP membership of the area they are elected to represent. Directors set the goals and objectives for the association, plan, and approve the association’s budget and develop new initiatives for the organization. Members of the Board serve as volunteers without compensation or reimbursement of expenses, contributing their time and resources to advance the profession of workforce development.
Cami is looking forward to representing Region 10 and furthering the workforce development profession, and we at Career Path Services hope you’ll join us in congratulating her on this election.
