For a select handful of employees and family members from Career Path Services, December 11th, 2012, was the day to give back to the residents of our Spokane community. Over the past several years, we have gone caroling at the North Central Care Center during the month of December and shared songs and gifts with the residents of NCCC. While some may certainly question the key in which some songs were sung, no one doubted the heartfelt sincerity of our efforts.
We did miss George (Iranon, Career Path Services CEO) leading us on guitar this year, but we weren’t without musical accompanyment; James Hughes played keyboard and Jerry Higbee followed with his guitar. The whole event lasted a little over an hour, with some residents and staff of NCCC joining in for a few of the songs. Favorites included The Twelve Days of Christmas, We Wish You A Merry Christmas, and Angels We Have Heard On High, among other Christmas classics.
We’d like to thank everyone who took time out of their day to participate in the caroling and to the staff of North Central Care Center for allowing us to sing once again this year. We are confident that we did well enough to be asked next year for a repeat performance and hope those who listened to us agree!
