For March 2016, we ring the bell for the Vocational Rehab Division. In February our teams in Spokane, Omak, Wenatchee, Republic and Colville were told of the difficult decision to close down the division as of March 31. It’s the kind of news no one ever wants to hear: 25 employees losing their jobs and around 400 customers needing to find new service providers.
While still absorbing the news of their own job losses, each of these teams determined they would finish strong. And that is what they are doing. It has been remarkable to see how they delivered the news to their customers with care and compassion, how they are working with the counties to ensure a smooth transition, how they have continued to coach and to place their caseload, and how they have cared for each other. They are living our organizational values with grace and grit. While remarkable, it is unsurprising. These are people of strong character and high moral standards; true professionals who bring their best every single day.
It is with heartfelt appreciation we say thank you for your service and ring the bell for you:
