Meet Sarah Lloyd, who represents Western Washington

Introducing Board Member, Sarah Lloyd. Sarah has a passion for authentically connecting with others, supporting them toward unlocking the best possible version of their lives. She has been training and developing teams since 2003 and has successfully worked across the nation in all sectors, providing a broad perspective for how best to examine, approach, and solve challenges facing leaders today. With experience in K-12 & higher education, social work, workforce development, juvenile rehabilitation, youth services, training & development, and nonprofit executive leadership environments, Sarah has supported highly effective, innovative, engaging, and customizable theory to practice applications for leaders and teams of all sizes toward better: equity & inclusion work designed for long-term impact; strategic plan design & implementation; program design & performance management; project management; curriculum & training design and delivery; and organizational structure & sustainability.

Sarah is the Principal Disruptor for Soul on Fire Consulting and is the Vice-Chair for the Social Justice & Equity Committee for the Board of Trustees for the South Sound YMCA. She is a single mother of her daughters“the three little birds,” ages 12, 10, and 8. She graduated with a BA in Advertising from Washington State (GO COUGS!) and a MA in Educational Leadership from the University of Northern Colorado. She is attending Saint Martin’s University to pursue her Ph.D. in Leadership Studies & Social Justice, with an anticipated graduation of 2023.
