What’s going on at WorkForce Central?

The Pierce County WorkForce Central organization has been busy, working to align the county’s workforce with employer needs.  From August 2016 to September 2016, data shows a number of trends towards meeting this goal:

• Unemployment: Down to 6% from 6.5%
• Labor Force: Increased by 852
• Overall Employment: Increased by 2,564

With the Career Path Services’ WIOA team up and running since July of this year, we expect those numbers to trend even higher as they continue to expand and develop their client base.
