What’s Happening in King County?

With 3 months left to go in the 2017 Program Year, our King County teams have spent the year working alongside our community partners to provide training in job skills, job hunting, and work experience to TANF recipients. The teams have put up some impressive numbers:newspaper-154444_640

  • 113 individuals placed in unsubsidized employment
  • 247 participants enrolled in Community Jobs and Community Works
  • $14.23 average placement wage

Part of achieving those numbers are the classes the teams offer throughout the week:

Life Skills Classes

  • Federal Way Office: Monday, 1 pm – 4 pm
  • Renton Office: Friday, 9 am – 12 pm

Growing Personal Skills

  • Federal Way Office: Thursday, 10 am – 12 pm
  • Renton Office: Tuesday, 11 am – 1 pm
