Here’s what happening at Career Path Services in South King County as of December 2016:
Problem solving and a job offer
Three days before finishing her CJ program, Sue (named changed for confidentiality) attended our Life Enrichment course, Problem Solving. She was aware that her CJ program was about to end and knew that she had a job interview the next day for a permanent position.
Career Path Services was one of the first phone calls an elated Sue made after her interview. She shared with us that not only had she received the position but that it was one interview question that made all of the difference: problem solving. Interviewers asked Sue about problem solving, and she said she used the skills she learned in class the day before to answer the question. She received feedback that her answer to that question made their decision to hire her very easy. Go Sue!
